Teaching Staff

Owners Rebecca Kasang and Zlatina Asenova have been working together as music professionals for many years.  They both have master's degrees in music education and both teach music at private schools in St. Petersburg, in addition to their private students and managing the studio. Rebecca teaches piano and is also a professional organist and Zlatina specializes in piano and voice.

​​Mark studied from jazz guitar great Jimmy Bruno & Joe Lano, and attended UNLV where he flourished in their music department. As an accomplished studio guitarist for the past 25 years, Mark has recorded and performed with a wide variety of top artists such as Melissa Etheridge, Stanley Clarke, Randy Crawford, The 5th Dimension, Dionne Warwick, Michael Sembello, Wayne Newton, and Dianne Shuur.  As a music instructor, Mark has taught guitar students ranging from beginners to advanced. He has also mentored and instructed students through RYTMO.org which has helped guide many troubled teens to a better life through music. 

​​Andy has a bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance/voice and a master's degree in vocal performance from Mt. Union College and Kent State University, respectively. His opera resume would impress even the most discerning opera fan and currently he is singing with the St. Pete Opera. In the guitar realm, he refers to himself as a "reformed metalhead" so not only can he teach classical guitar but anything that you might desire in the pop/rock genre.

Matching students in the St. Petersburg area with quality music teachers for lessons in the student home, at the teachers' home studios or via video. Daytime, afternoon and evening lessons available for all ages in piano, voice, guitar and violin.

Jamie is a pianist, vocalist, and composer.  She is a piano and vocal instructor as well as a professor of Songwriting at St. Petersburg College holding an MA in Music from Western Carolina University, and a BA in Elementary Education.  Jamie has been a music instructor with Ruth Eckerd Hall since 2015, helping lead the Grammy Museum Project, and most recently taken on a new assignment as Talent Coordinator—coordinating talent for the new ‘Kate Tiedemann & Ellen Cotton Cabaret Theater’.  Jamie has judged several talent events—most notably American Idol of Tampa Bay, and Walker’s Rising Stars.  She is a piano accompanist and vocalist for various soloists and ensembles, in addition to her own solo act.  She has composed music for children, jingles and plays, as well as written hundreds of songs. 

Hannah teaches violin. She played in the Sarasota Orchestra (youth programs) for eight years as well as in college ensembles while earning her B. S. in Business and Religion. She has extensive training and a passion for teaching the next generation of musicians.


Chemena has a "Superior Level" Piano Performance degree from the National Conservatory of Music in Turkmenistan. She has taught private piano extensively in the U.S. and Bolivia and held the position of Professor of Music Theory as well as Orchestra Pianist and Accompanist while in Bolivia. Chemena speaks fluent English, Russian, Spanish and Turkmen and is happy to teach lessons in any of these languages.

​​Gloria began her music career in Santiago, Chile at the age of 5, under the tutelage of her mother, a professional piano teacher. As an adult in New York, she studied piano and theory using the Trinity College of Music system, then moved to Florida in 2014. She taught piano and violin in Kissimmee before moving to St. Petersburg in 2017 and teaching with St. Pete MAD. Gloria is adept at teaching many styles and ages so is an excellent choice for children, teens and adults alike. 

​​​Judi is an experienced teacher and image consultant, with many years in the business. She is a graduate of the American musical and dramatic academy in New York City, CBS recording artist and a veteran performer throughout the US and abroad. In addition to her extensive resume, Judi is still active in the business and she enjoys helping students develop their natural talents and gifts.
