VOICE

​Jamie Hughes  is a pianist, vocalist, and composer who is sitting on the judges panel of Tampa Bay Idol this year.  She is a professor of Songwriting at St. Petersburg College, holding an MA in Music from Western Carolina University, and a BA in Elementary Education.  She is a piano accompanist and vocalist for various soloists and ensembles in addition to her own solo act.  Her work in songwriting research and practice mostly focuses on song trend analysis, popular music pedagogies, effective songwriting through fundamental songwriting approaches, and music literacy appropriate for songwriting.  She has composed music for children, jingles and plays, as well as written hundreds of songs.

​Judi Prane is an experienced teacher and image consultant, with many years in the business. She is a graduate of the American musical and dramatic academy in New York City, CBS recording artist and a veteran performer throughout the US and abroad. In addition to her extensive resume, Judi is still active in the business and she enjoys helping students develop their natural talents and gifts. 

Andy Morales  is a sunny, enthusiastic guitar and voice teacher with a bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance/voice and a master's degree in vocal performance from Mt. Union College and Kent State University, respectively. His opera resume would impress even the most discerning opera fan and currently he is singing with the St. Pete Opera. In the guitar realm, he refers to himself as a "reformed metalhead" so not only can he teach classical guitar but also anything that you might desire in the pop/rock genre.
